Industry-leading provider of organic waste recycling services in Bedfordshire, Growing Beds Recycling Services is shortlisted for Organic Recycling Business of the Year at the highly prestigious Awards for Excellence.
Growing Beds Recycling Services Limited (GBRS) has made the shortlist of finalists attending this year’s Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management.
Based in Bedford, GBRS Ltd provide high-quality recycling services across the UK, specialising in Green Waste, PAS100 Compost in both horticulture and agriculture, BS3882 Topsoil, Wood Waste Recycling and Biomass.
The Company was founded by Mark Evans & Isobel Wootton Evans is 2002, becoming a Ltd Company in 2005.

The Awards for Excellence in Recycling and Waste Management is a renowned date in the environmental awards calendar, enabling companies like GBRS to gain industry recognition for their achievements in what is helping to support the welfare of our environment.
The award ceremony takes place on the 18th of May 2022 at the glamourous Landmark Hotel in London. A five-star establishment, fitting to accommodate the quality of businesses in attendance and the prestige associated with the event.
With over 400 guests in attendance in 2021, organisers expect even greater numbers to be in attendance this year.
The occasion provides crucial recognition in recycling and waste management and a unique in-person networking event for business owners, council officers and councillors to share ideas and discuss collaborative efforts for the future.
This year also includes two new categories; the ‘Contribution to Achieving Net Zero’ and the ‘Local Authority Individual or Team of the Year’, with the ‘Recycling Business of the Year’ award given to a winner across the raw material categories.
A high-profile panel of judges amounts to 11 distinguished names in the industry, including John Coates (LARAC), Jacob Hayler (Environmental Services Association), and Jarno Stet (NAWDO). All awards will be announced on the day between 12 pm and 4.30 pm, with tickets now available for purchase.
