Plasterboard recycling

Growing Beds Recycling is pleased to introduce its new plasterboard recycling service, working in partnership with Countrystyle Group. Yet another affordable solution for diverting waste from landfill and capable of processing up to 40,000 tonne of material each year, the plasterboard recycling and Gypsum recovery facility is based at Ridham near Sittingbourne, Kent.

Situated adjacent to a neighbouring KNAUF plasterboard factory, this highly specialised service provides a convenient and economical outlet for the local processing of recovered gypsum.

Our plasterboard collection service, featuring fully transparent audit trail, is available throughout the South of England and includes:

● Colllection by high cube walking-floor articulated vehicles
● Collection by roll on / off bin vehicles
● Collection by roll on/ off closed containers for civic amenity sites

Plasterboard waste deliveries must be free from the following contamination:

● Foil back board, insulated or melamine surface board
● Plastic, glass, metal, wood, cardboard brick, concrete, soils
● Containers and material must be free from water and any liquid
